This hunt is a mid-week hunt leaving Monday at lunch and returning Wednesday afternoon.
Who can participate: This youth only outing is for young men ages 7-18 from any chapter as long as a parent or guardian can get the child to the drop off points.
Where: This outing will be at the 5 Beta Ranch near Batesville, TX. Rides to the ranch are available around north San Antonio.
What to bring: Participants will need a current youth hunting license (available at Academy, Walmart, HEB, etc. for $7). CTO has all the gear needed for the outings, kids just need to bring clothes, toiletries, headlamp, sleeping bag and pillow. A more detailed packing list will be sent out with the liability paperwork.
Cost: The cost for this outing is $50 for CTO Members and $70 for non-members. Scholarship funds are available for those in need.
